Your safety is our top most priority. We take pride in the proper upkeep of hygiene standards in our studio. We only use single-use disposable instruments: tattoo needles, needle tubes, gloves, pigment cups, etc. Before and after each tattoo session, we will properly sterilize all equipment and surface of our work area, while all used needles will be disposed of in designated bio-hazard waste disposal containers.
Quality work starts with quality materials. We only use high quality tattoo pigments imported from Japan and the US. Some of our preferred brands include: Kuro Sumi (Japan), Fusion and Eternal Ink (USA). These reputable brands are trusted for their long-lasting vibrancy and brilliant colors.

Is Tattooing Safe in Singapore?
This is the most commonly asked question, and it deserves an honest answer. Is tattooing really safe in Singapore? Well, although we can't speak for other tattoo studios, getting tattooed at Memory Lane is definitely safe. We use quality materials by manufacturers that are approved and holds up to local legislation regarding permanent cosmetics regulation. All equipment are either pre-sterilized or single-use disposable items, and our workstation is always sanitized between each client. This has been our practice and will continue to be so, as your safety and well-being is what's most important.
For statistics as to the safety of getting tattooed, we refer to a statement made by the Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) on the 12th of November 2007, in which they clarified that:
In the past 30 years, there have been no reports of infectious disease transmission or serious complications from a body tattooing procedure in Singapore. There is no compelling need to regulate the industry. But we will continue to monitor this industry, and leave open the issue of whether to introduce legislation to control it.
