What's so LUCKY  about this bangle?

Wild Caulis Spatholobi is a rare natural wood that has been in use for thousand of years - both as Traditional Chinese Medicine (as recorded in the Compendium of Materia Medica), and as a good luck piece by the ancient Yunan people.

Just tell us your tattoo story and your wrist size when ordering.

Our wild Caulis Spatholobi bangles are unisex and can be worn by both guys and gals - just as Caulis Spatholobi is a neutral wood.

Our bangles are made oval in shape - which will fit nicely on any wrists and won't chaff the skin.

Known medicinal properties include; joint pain, athritis, and inflammation. However, the bangle is not for ingestion. (Featured in numerous editions of the Compendium of Materia Medica of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Fate will decide which design you'll get based on arcane principles (as revealed to us by a Yunan Tribal Elder) according to your tattoo journey.

• Is the bangle really FREE?

• What's the shiny silver colour metal on some bangles?

These are Tibetan Silver (a type of alloy) ornamental pieces. Not 925 Sterling or plastic.

• What's the material?

This is genuine Caulis Spatholobi wood. Not Gurmar or some random tree branches.

• What's with the colour variation?

Genuine Caulis Spatholobi naturally comes in either a Yin or Yang variety. Reddish Caulis Spatholobi is usually the Yang variety. While other colour variations and/or bearing ring patterns are usually from the Yin variety.

• Is my bangle a single piece of wood?

Caulis Spatholobi naturally comes with 4 "knots" or none at all. These are naturally occuring in nature and is not a flaw or artificially fused together.

• Why is my bangle oval and not round in shape?

The oval shape fits the wrist anatomy better. It's not damaged or crushed during transit.

• How to measure a good fit?

Use the measuring guide attached to measure your wrist size. We will select a suitable design and send you the correct sizing according to your wrist size.

Through our various travels and encounters with different cultures and ethnic groups bonding over our love and appreciation for good body art, we have stumbled upon a "gold mine" of cultural quirks and superstitions over the years.

Now, through traversing the deep forests of Yunnan forests...we have found the natives to be extremely fond of a special type of wood known as ""鸡血藤" to them or by its Latin name "Caulis Spatholobi".

Not only is it prized for its medicinal properties (featured in many editions of the Compendium of Materia Medica - 本草纲目), it is also loved for its beauty as an ornamental jewellery, and, most importantly, kept by the locals as a good luck piece to ward off evil and bring good luck to its wearer.

However, the locals believes that this precious wood can't be bought or purchased, as whether and how you're get one is by pure fate. And we would like to continue this tradition here at Memory Lane! All bangles will be free for you. Tell us your tattoo story - it can be either done by us or any other artist(s), just cover our shipping and handling, and, based on your story, we will select a suitable bangle and send it off to you for free! Each bangle is unique and lovingly handmade by our generous friends in Yunan, China.

2. Make a PayNow / PayLah payment to +65 8720 9852 (Payee: EYG-MLTS) for the S$12.99 shipping & handling fee. One bangle will be shipped per order.
3. Upload the successful payment screenshot together with your order using the form below.
4. We will verify your payment and select the most suitable bracelet based on your story and tattoo experience.
5. This campaign ends on 1st December 2020. After which, we will consolidate all orders and have them custom-made by our friends in Yunan. Please be patient. All orders will be delivered by SingPost Basic Mail (Domestic Ordinary Mail).
